After a recent reported incident, it seems wise to make it clear that the code of conduct applies to post-event behavior if it is related to one of our events.

Suggestions and improvements are welcome, as always.

it is also a violation if the behavior happens outside an event, for example, private messages on meetup, or in Slack.

If a participant engages in behavior that violates this code of conduct, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately and to maintain compliance going forward.
